Our annual conference provides staff training, as well as gathering of preschool professionals, coming together to share ideas, techniques and the importance of providing quality and developmentally appropriate education for young children.
Outstanding, hands-on training is provided by experienced keynote speakers and presenters who address various interests and training requirements of teachers of young children. A large number of exhibitors are represented who bring all the latest teaching techniques and materials for conference attendees to view, experience and purchase.
Each year we strive to improve on the Conference, so keep your ideas coming! Pass the word to your friends and invite those who have never attended one of our conferences.

2019 Annual Conference Update
A huge thank you to all of those that attended our 2019 Georgia Preschool Association Annual Conference, “Every Child Has a Voice, Every Teacher Has a Calling.” We had an opportunity to learn so many valuable teaching techniques, engage in so many knowledgeable sessions, and meet and network with new educators. This year’s conference, opened by Comer Yates Executive Director of the Atlanta Speech School; gave us new insight into teaching so that every child’s voice can be heard. What an enthusiastic and motivating Keynote speaker who challenged us to investigate our calling as a teacher.
Many sessions were held with special needs in mind and some new and innovative ways to engage the children were introduced. Our closing session, as a collaboration between the Atlanta Speech School and the Alliance Theater was nothing short of inspirational. The Atlanta Opera’s Timothy Miller blew us away with his World Premier presentation of an Opera, “The Princess and the Pig,” written by preschool children.
We continue to strive to improve our conference and are working with the Cobb Galleria Centre on several improvements to make next years’ experience even better. We appreciate your feedback in the evaluation forms you completed. We welcome your suggestions for any additional workshops or speakers to help us provide a conference that will meet the needs of those in attendance.
Encourage your friends to join Georgia Preschool Association. Help us find other vendors that can enhance the Exhibit Hall experience and continue to spread the positive words you gave us about the conference so others can gain insight into teaching through this educational experience. Thank you to the many hard-working Board Members (who all work as volunteers) to make this event not only possible but to run so smoothly. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
