Operation Stop Arm
Sheri Lewis, a preschool teacher at St. Andrew UMC and member of the GA Preschool Association is helping to lead an effort to pass additional school bus safety legislation. Her experiences include meeting with state representatives, school system representatives, the governor and various newspaper, radio and TV media. Every day thousands of school buses are passed putting children at risk for injury and death. Sheri's actions are motivated in part by the death of a little girl from her child's elementry school in Cobb Co. who was killed in front of horrified children, parents, and her own mother.
